Machine Description
The Barnaul KB8336 is a 400-ton closed-frame knuckle-joint coining press for cold forming operations that require high unit pressure over a short working stroke: coining, sizing, finishing, bulk forming and cold extrusion of steel parts. The press is sold used and as found.
The welded frame has adjustable L-shaped prismatic slide guides, a 500 × 500 mm die plate with T-slots, and a box-section slide. The two-stage drive transmits motor power through V-belts, flywheel and clutch-brake to the gear train; the knuckle-joint mechanism sits inside the extended slide. Upper and lower ejectors remove formed parts.
Model-passport data confirm 4,000 kN (400 tons) nominal force, a 130 mm slide stroke, 50 strokes per minute, a 500 × 500 mm table and a maximum 475 mm table-to-slide distance at the bottom position.
