Dismantling & Logistics

Full-cycle dismantling and international logistics for heavy used presses

Triga LLC coordinates professional dismantling, packaging, loading and transport of forging, hydraulic and mechanical presses from Europe to customers worldwide.

On-site dismantling and packaging of heavy presses
Full service

From factory floor to final destination

Triga LLC provides a full-cycle dismantling and logistics service for used forging, hydraulic and mechanical presses, plus the vertical turning lathes and CNC bending machines in our own catalogue. We manage the project so you deal with one contact instead of coordinating subcontractors, carriers and brokers separately.

Mechanical and electrical disconnection with interface marking
Crane and forklift rigging adapted to machine weight and geometry
Custom metal and wooden cradles, crating and container loading
Road transport, 40’HC, flat-rack and oversize shipments worldwide
What we do

Three pillars of our dismantling service

Each stage, from site survey to delivery, is planned and executed by experienced teams.

Dismantling

Professional dismantling

Mechanical and electrical disconnection, marking of cables and interfaces, separation of large assemblies, use of cranes, forklifts and rigging equipment adapted to machine weight and dimensions.

Packaging

Industrial packaging & loading

Custom metal and wooden cradles, wooden crates and steel frames, container loading and securing according to carrier and insurance requirements.

Transport

International transport

Road transport, 40’HC containers, flat-rack and oversize shipments. Coordination with shipping lines, terminals, customs brokers and local rigging companies on arrival.

We provide photo and video reports from all key stages: pre-dismantling condition, dismantling, packaging, loading and container sealing. Especially important for remote buyers who cannot be present on site.
Steps 1–3

Survey, dismantling & packaging

A clear process keeps deadlines and minimises risks for heavy forging, hydraulic and mechanical presses.

01 Technical survey & planning — machine design, hall access, floor capacity and loading options. We prepare a dismantling and loading plan including rigging and packaging scenario.
02 Dismantling & marking — electrical, hydraulic and lubrication disconnection; all cables, hoses and interfaces marked for easy re-installation at the destination.
03 Packaging, loading & securing — machines fixed to bases or frames and loaded into trucks or containers according to international standards to avoid damage in transit.
Steps 4–6

Export, transport & delivery

The second phase covers documentation, international transport and support at the destination to ensure a smooth handover.

04 Export documentation — commercial invoices, packing lists, photo documentation, weight and dimension tables; certificates and customs declarations stay with your broker or forwarder.
05 International transport — coordinating pick-up, terminal handling, sea freight or long-distance trucking and delivery to the destination country, including insurance if requested.
06 Delivery & unloading support — communication with local rigging companies, unloading, positioning of machines and basic checks after transport on arrival.
Geography & equipment

Regions and types of equipment

We mainly work with equipment sourced in the European Union and deliver to customers in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, India, Asia and Latin America.

Forging presses — mechanical and hydraulic
Knuckle joint, trimming and screw presses
Vertical turning lathes
CNC bending machines for sheet metal
Eccentric and other industrial presses
Typical projects

Past deliveries

  • 1,600-ton forging press dismantled and shipped from EU to India

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about dismantling & logistics

Answers for buyers planning machine dismantling, packaging or international transport from Europe.

Can you dismantle and ship a press bought from another seller?
Yes. Triga LLC can provide dismantling, packaging and logistics services for a press purchased via another dealer or directly from a factory, provided full technical information and site access are available.
What information do you need to calculate a dismantling & transport quote?
Machine type and dimensions, location (postal code), access conditions (door size, hall height, floor level), destination country and preferred delivery terms (EXW / FCA / FOB / CIF / DAP).
Can you support customs clearance in the destination country?
In most cases Triga LLC cooperates with local customs brokers of the buyer. We prepare all export documentation and provide technical data, photos and packing lists required for import clearance.
What determines the cost of dismantling a press?
Cost depends on several factors: machine mass and dimensions, crane and access conditions at the site, the extent of disassembly required (partial or full breakdown to transport dimensions), transport distance and route, and loading conditions. We do not publish a fixed price list — send us the machine data and location and we will prepare an individual quote.
Does TRIGA dismantle only presses, or other industrial machines too?
TRIGA is primarily a heavy press dismantling company, covering hot forging, hydraulic, mechanical, knuckle joint and trimming presses. We also dismantle other industrial machines from our own catalog, including vertical turning lathes (VTL) and CNC bending machines. Ask us if your machine is not a press.
