Machine Description
The EVG POLYBEND PBE 2-16 is a 2017-manufacture Austrian automatic CNC bending machine for reinforcing steel wire, designed for high-volume precision production of shaped reinforcement components. Processing wire diameters from 2.0 to 16.0 mm at up to 100–140 m/min feed speed with ±0.5 mm positioning accuracy, the machine is suited to demanding precast and structural reinforcement production.
The POLYBEND system uses CNC-controlled servo drives to achieve up to 1200–1500 bends per hour with repeatable part geometry. The machine processes B500 reinforcing steel, cold-drawn wire, and both smooth and ribbed profiles within the stated range, making it versatile across different reinforcement element types including mesh, 3D reinforcement cages and precast concrete reinforcement elements.
